title: "Rate Limits"
description: "SocialData API rate limits and monthly caps explained: default per-endpoint limits, how throttling behaves and how to request a higher limit."
source: "https://docs.socialdata.tools/getting-started/rate-limits/"
---

Each user has a limit of 120 requests per minute shared across all endpoints.

We offer higher rate limits at no extra charge if your app is generating a significant volume. Please reach out to [support@socialdata.tools](mailto:support@socialdata.tools) if you need to raise your rate limit.
